MindWander ("the App") is developed by Maxime Hussenet. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your data.

Data Stored on Your Device

All user data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

Reading Preferences: Text size, theme, and language settings.
Content Preferences: Category weights that personalize your feed based on your reading habits (likes, dislikes, dwell time).
Cached Content: Article snippets and compressed images are cached locally for offline reading.
Quiz Data: Recent article interactions used to generate quizzes.

Third-Party Content

The App fetches educational content from the Wikipedia API. Requests are made directly to Wikipedia's servers. See Wikimedia Privacy Policy.

Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device's privacy settings. See Google Ads Privacy.

Data We Do NOT Collect

No personal information (name, email, phone number)
No analytics or crash reporting
No location data
No camera, photos, or microphone access
No contacts or calendar data
No user accounts or login credentials

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
